NC R&D and manufacturer is seeking a strategic, results-driven Sales and Account Manager to drive revenue growth by managing existing accounts and securing new business across domestic and international markets. This role requires strong commercial instincts, industry knowledge, and a passion for building lasting client partnerships. Experience in functional beverages, CBD, cannabis, supplements, or pharmaceuticals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Sales and Account Manager Responsibilities Account Management
• Own and grow key customer relationships to increase retention, order frequency, and account value
• Act as the primary point of contact for order coordination, product updates, and customer feedback
• Supported by Sales Operations for administrative tasks such as order entry, invoicing coordination, and CRM updates
Business Development
• Identify and convert new B2B customers.
• Communicate CEL’s differentiated technologies and product advantages through tailored pitches
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline with clear reporting and forecasting
Strategic Collaboration
• Partner with R&D and operations teams to ensure customer needs align with production capabilities
• Help shape go-to-market plans for new products and support their commercial rollout
• Represent CEL at select trade shows, conferences, and client site visits
Sales and Account Manager Requirements
• +10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
• Proven success in beverage, cannabis, CBD, supplement, pharmaceutical, or wellness sectors
• Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, early-stage company environment
• Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
• CRM fluency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Experience in breaking into new markets and presenting new innovative products
• Background in ingredient sales, contract manufacturing, or custom formulation, preferred
• Understanding of botanical extracts, alkaloids, or nano-powder delivery systems, preferred
• Established network in wellness, beverage, CBD/ Cannabis or supplement industries, preferred
